Natural light and views of the outdoors outweighs amenities like onsite cafeterias, fitness centers and even on-site childcare.
The desire for a workplace infused with natural light may also be due to increased screen time. Furthermore, research revealed that workers in daylight office environments reported a 51% drop in eyestrain, a 63% drop in headaches and 56% reduction in drowsiness.
The Big Numbers: The study found 78% of employees say access to natural light and views improves their wellbeing and 70% report improved work performance.
