The Challenge
• Focus on planting a flag in Seattle, but didn't want to grow too fast.​

• Not much available and certainly nothing at the time that was plug and play, short term and smaller in size.
Strategy
• Toured the greater Puget Sound with a focus on South Lake Union for recruitment reasons.
​
• Find short term lease with minimal upfront investment.
Results
• Signed a short term and flexible lab space and slowly expanded their footprint.
​
• After three years of responsible growth, signed a lease for a floor at Alexandria's new development on Eastlake.
